Wonderful questions, that set the stage for Carol to answer in depth, while really showcasing her personality and humor. What a great sense of timing and pacing you both have! I cracked up over the golf exchange (though anything that requires new shoes can’t be ALL bad…)

But the serious messages come through loud and clear too–”I want more younger women to get engaged. These rights are not set in stone, they could all go away in a puff of smoke”, is something we all need to be mindful of.

Entertaining interview-I did not really know all that much about Carol Leifer before I read this- thought it was insightful when Carol said:
“But I want to spread the word that the best part of your life can start at 40 and beyond if you don’t buy the hype. You also get so much smarter as you get older and that doesn’t get the air play out there that it deserves.”

Terrific interview! Would love to hear this live – hearing the both of you speak would have been very insightful and truly entertaining. The questions were very well written and set the tone for some great dialogue. Hope to see some more great interviews like this!

“…I always say to women, “Take advantage of the fact that you’re in the minority, don’t see it as a disadvantage. You’re that much more unique when there’s fewer of you.”

Now there’s a cool perspective–take the anxiety of the pioneer and turn it on its head. Or maybe that’s how you get to be a REAL pioneer.

I’ll also be able to sleep at night now knowing the genesis of Kramer.
