What's wrong w/a little Hillary-protectionism? Lately, I feel like that's the role the media and the Obama campaign has cast me into. She's always been vilified; yet 1/2 of the democratic voters in the country want her to be the next president. If you watch the news however, you wouldn't know that -- because they talk about Obama as if he has a giant lead (when they're really only separated by a handful of delegates). The media wants Obama to win. (Which is fine with me, as long as we have a democrat in office Jan. 20, 2009 I'm OK.) But I'm sick to death of the media reporting things incorrectly.

Aw, c'mon, Bets!

Caroline Kennedy was inspired by her teenage kids' who were inspired by Barack Obama. I have a lot of respect for Hilary and was undecided until I was inspired by my 19-year-old who heard Barack speak in Washington Square last year.

I think Bill, whom I loved, alas, went WAY too negative; moreso than Barack's campaign... I also think that 20 years of either a Bush or a Clinton is a little too weirdly dynastic, when all is said and done. Hillary could have done the job, but she's sort of a victim of her choices. Maybe she should be a life coach? Or maybe she should do like Ted Kennedy and become a legend as a US Senator...? Or maybe Barack will make her Secretary of State... :-)

I agree that going negative is just plain bad, but I detected just a whiff of Hilary-protectionism in that post... say it ain't so!
