This is so true! Thank you for bringing it up.
It's so easy for the dialog in our heads to be self-defeating and negative. I try to be really conscious now of the negative things I think about myself, but they do sneak in.
Try waking up every morning and thinking of something you are grateful for about yourself before you even get out of bed. It can even be the fact that you can get out of bed. When you are good to yourself, so is the universe.

Liz,

I love your writing!

Thank you for reinforcing the power of perspective and taking an opportunity to look at how we hold things in our lives.

We actually do have a choice, we just call the people who see things differently from us as "wierdos", "cooks", "nutjobs" and even "lucky" most of the time.

Love,
Gregg

I agree. Some days I don't know how I will get thru the day w/o a laugh.
Working at home can be tricky. My cats and dog don't like it when I do a 5 minute routine. They turn on me.
I have not tried laughing yoga. It sounds interesting but I have problems seeing how laughing and yoga go together - unless you see me in a tree pose!
Food for thought. I think I will go and google it!
Thanks for your great thoughts!
have a good one.

What true, dedicated friendship. I feel as if I know David. A great reminder to stop and take the time to appreciate true friendships and the people that impact our lives.

Laugher is so important. Whenever I have a good laugh, life just seems so much better, so much easier, so manageable and so much fun!! I have certain friends from work that are my laughter buddies - whenever I need a good laugh, I will call them up. They are even able to make me laugh through email! I love the article you wrote. Whether at work or play, it is important to smile and laugh. What a tremendous stress reliever! Ever try laughing yoga???

Thanks so much for such a wonderful comment.
Even though I miss David everyday of my life, I will always keep the thought that it was an absolute honor to have known him and to have been his close friend.
I wish everyone good friends. I wish I had David back so that my new friends could have met him and have experienced that goodness and the devilish streak that was David.
You are so right - the world does need more Davids.

I've been blessed to have good friends. In that, I am lucky. And I hope I'm a good friend in return.

I wish I knew David. The world needs more Davids.
